"Blackfeet Pony the reawakening" is a physical manifestation of an Indian spiritual event in my life that is hard to explain,
unless you're Native American. Part of why I'm called Owlman is because I have very real metaphysical
links to the spirit world, that and Owls have been around me for many, many years.
I began this "recycling
project" by going into motorcycle parts. A mechanic friend "turned me on" to a stockpile of old frames
which I cut up. to bring home. On aring home, I began playing with the various parts and it was very simple to
see how the parts seemed to outline muscle groups. That it all came together in the image of a horse is something that
comes from the spirit side.
I may add a "history page" that more describes the spiritual making of this piece.
